New destinations for Nordwind from Sochi will be flights to Volgograd, Saratov and Tyumen twice a week, and to Rostov-on-Don on three days. They will be held throughout the winter navigation period, which will last until the end of March.
The flights will be operated on Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a capacity of up to 189 passengers and an Embraer 190 with seats for 110 passengers. The aircrafts will be based at Sochi International Airport from the beginning of the winter navigation period.
The new flight schedule and a wide route network from the resort capital of Russia will allow the airline to offer travelers more opportunities for frequent and comfortable direct flights within the country, bypassing the capital's airports.
Recall that at the moment Nordwind Airlines operates flights from Sochi to Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Moscow, Omsk, Orenburg, St. Petersburg, Samara, Syktyvkar, Ulyanovsk, Ufa.
