The renaming of the management company is the result of three years of work to change the corporate identity of the airports and the management company. The first stage - the rebranding of airports - was completed in 2018. New logos and corporate identity of the holding's three international airports – Sochi, Krasnodar, and Anapa - were presented. In 2020, work on updating the websites of Sochi and Krasnodar airport has been completed.
The final stage is the renaming and rebranding of the management company. The main goals of the change in the company name were new strategic goals and values. Also, the former name Basel Aero was firmly associated only with the airports of the Krasnodar Territory, but after the rapid expansion of geography to Vladivostok and the establishment of new objectives for the expansion of the assets were no longer comply with the new concept of holding.
The situation in the air transportation and airport market, related to the impact of the pandemic and restrictive measures, as well as the market recovery until 2024 accelerated the process, which forced a rethinking of some goals and objectives.
All this required a new vision for the development of the company. The new Aerodynamics brand perfectly reflects the goals and objectives set by shareholders, including Singapore's Changi International Airport and Sberbank: expanding business, increasing economic sustainability, profitability, and operational efficiency of assets through the introduction of innovative solutions and excellent service standards.
Much attention is also paid to interaction with the community and changes in the quality of life of Russians in the territory of the airport's presence. The name change, among other things, is the reason for new approaches in relations with partners.
Today, the company Aerodynamics is one of the largest airport holdings in Russia, including airports in Sochi, Krasnodar, and Anapa. The total passenger traffic in 2020 amounted to more than 11.7 million people. At the beginning of 2020, a controlling stake in Vladivostok International Airport was acquired. It became part of the airport holding.
At the beginning of 2020, the total passenger traffic of the four airports reached 16 million people. The company has grown from the largest regional holding company to one of the leaders in the Russian airport industry. In many ways, this event made us think about the future existence of the company under the previous name.
Under the brand Aerodynamics, the company will continue to follow its basic tenets – to be a reliable investor implementing excellent projects in Russia and to be an adherent of open and transparent processes for the acquisition of new airports and the implementation of new projects. One of these projects is the construction of a new airport complex in Krasnodar with an area of about 85 thousand square meters. This complex will become one of the largest regional airports in the country.
The strategy of successful development of the airport business, formulated in the early 2000s. Thanks to the strategy, the airport of the Olympic Sochi was restored practically from ruins. Later, it received the status of one of the best airports in Europe and became the most popular airport during the period of restrictions on international flights.
The main components of the success of a new brand in the next 20 years are:

• implementation of continuous improvement projects based on a new production system;
